I’ve seen a the results of a massive floor jack failing. It happened when Bill was using my truck to demonstrate to his class how to lift and set jackstands under a full frame vehicle. No sooner had he placed the jackstands under, than the lift arm yielded and bent like a pretzel. That certainly got the class' attention!

One stand is still ballsy.

If I’m doing quick inspections I use ramps.

The news story I got this from said the car was in a wreck 10 days ago and hadn’t been towed yet. So deadass thief decides to saw on the exhaust.

I don’t feel sorry for him if that’s what he was actually doing.  

I’ll also tell you to pitch your spare tire (or removed tire) under the car as another safety precaution.
